Knowledge Profiles

A Knowledge Profile is the approved source set QAVRA can use when answering questions, creating training, or helping an MCP-connected assistant.

Use a Knowledge Profile when you want responses and course drafts grounded in your own material instead of generic training advice.

What Can Go Into A Knowledge Profile

Knowledge Profiles can use approved material such as:

Policies and procedures.
Training manuals and facilitator notes.
Web pages and PDFs.
Notion pages selected for QAVRA.
Product, compliance, role, or workplace documentation.
Expert-authored notes.

When To Create One

Create or update a Knowledge Profile before you:

Generate a course blueprint from workplace requirements.
Ask a connected assistant to draft or improve a course structure.
Let external AI answer questions from your approved material.
Create public or internal expert support experiences.
Refresh training after a policy, process, or product changes.

Before You Use It With MCP Connections

Check these settings in QAVRA:

The source material is current and approved.
The profile name clearly describes the knowledge area.
The routing profile explains when the profile should be used.
External AI access is enabled only when your organization allows it.
The external audience is limited to the right users or organization.

How Courses Use Knowledge Profiles

A course can be connected to a Knowledge Profile. When connected, QAVRA uses that profile while suggesting or drafting course structure changes.

This helps the course structure stay close to the real source material, learner context, and workplace requirements.

If Answers Look Wrong

If a connected assistant or QAVRA gives an answer that feels too generic, check:

Whether the right Knowledge Profile is connected.
Whether the source material has been refreshed.
Whether the profile routing description is specific enough.
Whether the connected user has permission to use the profile externally.
